COACH HOUSE PRESS AS A DIGITAL PIONEER: Talk and Presentation to Stan Bevington

Vancouver, BC - The Alcuin Society is very pleased to announce that its fifth Robert R. Reid Award and Medal will be presented to Stan Bevington, of Coach House Books (Toronto), on Friday. March 30th.

John Maxwell, Assistant Professor, Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing, will give a talk entitled Coach House Press as a Digital Pioneer. Following this, the Society will present its lifetime achievement award to Mr. Bevington.

Mr. Bevington will be in Vancouver as one of the judges in the Society's 30th annual book design competition, The Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada, which takes place the following day.

A Love of Letters: Work by William Rueter is on exhibit in Dundas, Ontario. The opening reception was held Friday, February 3rd, and the show continues till the last Sunday of the month.

Aliquando Press is Will Rueter's private press in Dundas, Ontario. This year will mark the 50th anniversary of his press. A selection of books and a virtual tour of his studio can be seen on his site online.
